Country music star, George Strait will be on the roads again for his final tour starting early next year. This is according to the latest reports press conference he made in the Country Hall of Fame and Museum while commenting, “Don’t think I’m retiring, because I’m not.”

Indeed, the music icon does not seem retire given that his tour and he is set to depart on the 18th of January, leaving for 21 scheduled concerts and 20 other performances until 2014.

The Cowboy Rides Away Tour is thought as Strait’s career celebration since his shows are mostly set in his former venues. Thus, this gives fans opportune moments of singing along the country star during ultimate live performances. Also the country music icon added that there might a few surprises for fans along the way.

Martina McBride, a popular country singer, is also expected to join the George Strait Tour as a guest performer. The first leg dates of the tour have already been released and the tickets have already been available since the 12th of October this year.

The star is looking forward to the plans for the George Strait Tour. In the conference, he still seemed eager and enjoying his performances as a country icon. “I just don’t want to go to the point where I show up and nobody else does, you know? It’s been great. I’ve been doing it for 30-some odd years and I’ve loved it,” he told the reporters who attended the conference. “”…And here lately it’s just the walking out onstage part, that’s all great. I’m still loving that. It’s just the hectic part about touring and traveling and bam bam bam. I just feel like it’s time for me to try something else.”

George Strait Tour is set to take off on the 18th of January next year at the United Spirit Arena in Lubbock, Texas. It is scheduled to stop at the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee in March 1st and at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in Houston, Texas. More of his performance dates and venues in 2013 and 2014 are also expected to be released soon.

George Strait is one of the country’s most hailed artists in country music. In his career, he has had 59 number one hits, with a song consistently hitting the top ten charts every year. He was first known in his 1981 hit single “Unwound.”

Closing his press release in Nashville, Tennessee, Strait made a memorable remark while reminiscing his triumphant performances, “I’m sure I’ll miss it. I’m sure I will. How can you not after doing it for so long. It was a hard decision to make. It was tough. I’ve lost sleep. Lady Gaga Concert Tour 2013 | Lady Gaga Concert Schedule

Lady Gaga Brings Born This Way Ball to North America

Spectacular!

Spectacular!

That’s what Lady Gaga’s onstage performance is always about. Elaborate opening performances, different costume changes, well decorated production numbers that even involve the use of motorcycles, live horses and gigantic inflatable zip ups – are what we can expect from her shows. Since only Gaga would entertain us this much.

Only Gaga Would Entertain This Way

In her show in UK last August, the show presented an extravagant Highway Unicorn opening with Gothic castle sets and a horse styled like a unicorn. She also sang Born This Way in an enormously large inflatable zip-up vagina, Heavy Metal Lover while rolling on a motorbike and Poker Face in a meat dress while being fed on big grinder.

Only in Gaga’s shows would you find vivid storylines depicted creatively while she sings. She has been known to have blown-up narrative expositions in her musical productions. To top it all, not only her songs or costume plays gives an exhilarating spectacle but also the pop dance moves that you would never expect her to do while on a dress.

This is perhaps one of the many reasons why Gaga is sought to have Madonna’s instincts. She is thought to have Bowie’s great showmanship and young Elton John’s musical chutzpah. Plus what’s more fascinating is her growing need to overcomplicate things – which results in brilliant and euphoric performances from her. Simply put, Gaga is one of 21st century’s finest pop stars.

Born This Way Ball

Every Gaga performance brings a grand and exciting feel to the fans. It is one of a kind that is why her concerts are much-awaited for.

This year, it is great news that the pop star is already prepared to bring her concerts to US shores. Born This Way Ball will be brought in installment tour dates to North America starting on the 26th of October this year. Then, Lady Gaga will also bring her music to the US and Canada starting on January 11th next year.

As always, Lady Gaga’s performances will be extravagant – full dances, artistic musical portrayals, breath-taking stunts, costume changes and of course with songs that only Gaga can spectacularly rendered.

Here is an updated list of her concert tour dates and venues. For more information and updates, simply visit Lady Gaga’s site at http://www.ladygaga.com/bornthiswayball.

Pink Tour 2013 The Truth About Love

2013 Pink Tour: The Truth About Love

Pink blew her one last kiss in a night graced with a giant pair of lips in MTV’s recent 2012 Video Music Awards. It was a kiss-blowing night to remember – a spectacular one last kiss that hit the billboard’s hot 200 after 12 weeks from its release!

Blow Me One Last Kiss is the lead single of the album The Truth About Love. Upon its debut in September 18, it immediately landed number 5 in the Billboard 200 charts.

Better yet, it is one success after another for Pink. Right after selling more than 280,000 in the US alone, the album hit UK’s airwaves and garnered the second top spot in the charts. It also climbed up the US Billboard 100 charts, securing the top spot for weeks. Thus, according to Entertainment Weekly, this success marked Pink’s first ever number one album since her debut as an artist.

Only recently, the pop-rock artist announced that she is set to hit both American and Canadian roads next year. This means that Pink’s last kiss is not the last after all. It will be more than just about Blow Me One Last Kiss but all concerning The Truth About Love.

Not much is given as to how the format of this kiss-blowing jaunt’s opening acts in the Pink Tour. However, with the unforgettable performance the pop-rock star did in the MTV Video Music Awards, this can be no less than an anthology of kisses and Truth About Love.

Much spectacle is also expected from this upcoming tour since it is Pink’s only live performance in significantly larger arenas since her 2009 Funhouse tour. This could be much grander than her live performance in the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.

So, forget the last kiss. There’s another one coming your way since the Pink Tour is scheduled to set off starting February 13 next year. It will stop in 25 cities until almost the end of March next year.
